Installation Instructions
Windows Installation
- Download the Windows installer (.exe) from above
- Run the installer with administrator privileges
- Follow the installation wizard
- Launch Ixio from the Start menu or desktop shortcut
System Requirements
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
- Administrator privileges for USB access
- At least 200 MB free disk space
macOS Installation
- Download the macOS disk image (.dmg) from above
- Open the downloaded .dmg file
- Drag Ixio to your Applications folder
- Launch Ixio from Applications (you may need to allow it in System Preferences → Security & Privacy)
System Requirements
- macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
- Administrator privileges for USB access
- At least 200 MB free disk space
Linux Installation
- Download the AppImage or .deb package from above
- Make the AppImage executable:
chmod +x Ixio-*.AppImage - Run the AppImage or install the .deb package
- Ensure required system utilities are installed
System Requirements
- Modern Linux distribution (Ubuntu 20.04+, Fedora 35+, etc.)
- Required utilities:
ntfs-3g,parted,dosfstools - Administrator/sudo privileges for USB access
- At least 200 MB free disk space
Installing Required Utilities
Ubuntu/Debian:
sudo apt install ntfs-3g parted dosfstoolsFedora:
sudo dnf install ntfs-3g parted dosfstoolsArch Linux:
